Recruitment

Sorry, we are not currently accepting new applications for any roles.

Peninsula Medics Ltd holds a fantastic reputation with our clients, industry partners, and our staff for very good reason.

Professional services delivered with patient centred care at it’s heart, and consideration of the success of every event we attend.

Professional equipment to scope and role, deployed logically to enable our teams to do their job effectively.

Detailed Clinical, Operational, and Medicines guidelines eliminating any doubt around scope of practice and legal responsibilities.

Clinical and Operational Advice at all times while on duty

An internal welafre support process available at all times on or off duty.

Reliable, timely pay. Our staff get paid first, before any other bill, supplier, or purchase, usually the week after the event!

Some Things to Know

We are currently unable to employ Ambulance Technicians.

This is primarily due to the complexities around medicines management for Ambulance Technicians meaning that they would be restricted to a similar scope of practice as a Responder. It is also because where we are unable to source a Technician for an event we would have to provide a Paramedic instead at cost to either the client or the business.

Qualified Ambulance Technicians are welcome to apply for a role as an Event Medical Responder.

We expect our staff to work when on shift.

This means getting out and about at an event, being on standby at strategic points, and helping other team members (whilst ensuring that we allow everyone to get experience to their scope of practice). This is the not the organisation to join if you fancy sitting around with tea and biscuits!

Our Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines are mandatory.

As a CQC regulated healthcare organisation we need to make sure that everything we do is legal, patient centred, and most importantly safe. Our guidelines exist for exactly this reason and must be followed to ensure that we are providing the best possible patient care.

We “Do” Infection Control.

This includes appropriate PPE use, cleaning, and Bare Below the Elbows for all our patient facing staff. Our IPC guidleines are based on national, international and local best practice, professional consensus and regulatory requirements.

We only employ people who have a genuine desire to work in event medicine.

Because these are the people who will do the job properly.

We only employ ECAs and Responders on a PAYE basis.

Because regardless of how it’s done across the industry, you cannot legally be self employed in these roles.

We anticipate a large response to this recruitment drive.

So we will be unable to respond to every applicant. It is also likely to take a great deal of time to get through applications and arrange interviews. If you have not heard from us by the 1st of April, you have been usuccessful on this occasion.

If any of the above is a concern, or is something you aren’t willing to do, then please do not apply.

If you’re ready to join a fast moving, professional family, then please head to our recruitment page linked below.
